The sun rises on an excavation site on Tatooine. The crystal in the last shot will teleport you to the rift map I made earlier (with some improvements)
(At the minute, the skybox lets you see the void, so no shots of that - do you know what's causing this? Is it the entity suns?)

youuuuuuu! make the 'excavation' a little more rounded and... rocky! nice start... lacks some detail though.

The Massassi JO/JA Single Player contest info

The style seems to go to blocky to curvy to freaky columns. How do you plan to transition between the two completely different styles of architecture?
BTW, excavations seem to be an outdoor kinda thing. Maybe those shots with hangars and stuff should be an office, with the entrance a mine tunnel?

You could also try to line up the patches, instead of sticking them through eachother.

You might want to follow GothicX' advice.
But as far as weird alien architecture goes, I'd say that this is a great and origional idea!
