(I updated pics. I was away for the weekend = delay reason)

I added some more lights and increased brightness a bit. :/

I might update again if I can get those light flares to work. Aggh

Looks perfect as it is.

And for those who say it isn't:
You're supposed to play dark levels/games when it's dark and then you won't have sunlight glaring directly in your screen.

Oh and I love all the details.

I just think it needs a bit of ambient light. not too much more, but you need to be able to see some more.

It depends if it's SP or MP. If it's SP, then it's fine dark. If it's MP, you want more light. It's no fun if you can't see who you're fragging. Deathmatch never works in the dark.

Well, if its abandoned, maybe add a few knocked-over lamps (maybe even make one of them flicker [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] ), and maybe some steam shooting out of a busted pipe or something. otherwise, its beautiful!

I'd say a tiny bit lighter, but nothing too blatant, it has a great atmosphere already judging from those shots.

Seeing that Echoman is working on the Massassi SP contest, and there's an NPC in one of those shots, I'd say this is SP.

Echo, you might want to have some contrast in the lighting, maybe add some yellow lights somewhere.

Before I boosted my monitor gamma to the max all I could see was blue dots.

I couldn't make it out too well at first, but after boosting my gamma, I saw it's beuaty. Nice work, and great details.

btw, echoman, I didnt want to take this to the forums, but some project (the one I bug you about) is nearing a stage where we really need you. So please get in contact with me. E-mail or FOR GODS SAKE GET MSN.

That's why we have lightsabers XD Need to know where your buddy is? Just ignite a saber.
(Ofcourse back in the JK & DF days we had flashlights , but ah well)

On the level itself: I like it as it is, keep it nice and dark and ambiant. ^.^

Maybe you already updated the shots, but it looks good. It doesn't need to be any brighter than that, if you meant it to be a shadowy place (as you did).

If it's an abandoned craft, you could put flood-lamps and stuff in there (as if it was being studied or escavated). Other than it being a tad too dark, it's really great.

ummm, echo if this is for the co-op. You're going to have to help me work this into the story. We can't just say, "Now we go to some strange old beuatiful spacecraft.

I updated the pics. If it is good enough, I'll get on with the rest of map. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

And Arkon, you never gave me a story at all. So I had to make an ongoing one with my maps. Don't turn this thread into a co-op thread.

I know. It appears that the color I wanted (which isn't as blue) isn't showing up in my level as I wanted. Maybe I need to find another color theme that works as well. :/

Looks perfectly bright to me. No changes in the lightning neccicary in my opinion, I can see clearly yet it retains the atomasphere.

But then again, I'm only one person. Can't speak for everyone else.

My sympathies exactly, though maybe a little ambient light...not much, though. BTW, what is the co-op?

If it is an old derelict ship, maybe you could have an engine room with a short in it (sparks shooting out of it), and the whole entire ship lights up in short flashes, like the electricity is shorting out.
