Recently, I've decided to improve my painting skills through "speedpainting". Basically, it means to paint or draw a picture within a time limit. I've set it at 45 minutes, and here are the three first:

Number 1, never completed due to bad planning while sketching. Itorca launching a medium-range anti-air missile. 15 minutes-ish:


Number 2, Itorca taxing out. Proportions are off. 30 minutes-ish.


Number 3, an Itorca doing a late-twilight takeoff. 40 minutes-ish. Not satisfied with the light effects.:

anyway with regards to the last one...

I realize you're not satisfied with the lighting effects, but the yellow highlights off the flaps and the rear of the fuselage are very nice.

OK, this came out really sloppy. Itorca pulling up after launching a practice anti-ship missile over a big lake in the middle of a military practice area. About 35 minutes.

I like the second one the most. The third would be a lot better if the light flares were all parallel. Other than that, I think it's quite good work.

Yeah, that's a beach and some hills and beyond that, mountains. It isn't an ocean, it's a big lake.

And Jin, I agree. I should do a non-speedpaint version of it.
