Some people ask "why?"

I ask "why not?". People have posted far stranger things than this on Massassi. The following is a place where mapping and school combine.

My project for my Tech course at school was to build a coffee table. Sadly, i won't be able to complete it by the deadline, but i did make a brush model in Radiant of it. Here it is, in an advertisement that i made for a presentation that i'm doing tomorrow.

Now that's a really good advertisement. If I needed a coffee table at all, I would get that one now. Nice model BTW. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
DO NOT WANT.

Yes. Good work with brushes and very nice textures. It's not a bad looking table at all!

I don't like the last "ability" you listed there - I think it's too coarse to fit in, but otherwise it's also a very good ad.

That ad is one of the coolest cool school project ads I've ever seen. Most of the time when anybody in my class is assigned something like that, it ends up pretty stupid looking (my ads included).

Thanx for the comments people, but this isn't the first school project i've posted here. I'm sure that there are those among you that remember the Jedi Sanctuary project (which culminated in the two pics below). Sadly, i lost the final map in a system reformat (i hate hackers and viruses, what can i say?), but its memory lives on (tear)

I'd show you guys the awesome CGI Animation I did in Bryce, but I can't get it down small enough to the point where you'd be able to download it and still see what's going on. Among the things that made it awesome was that it was animated to Flexor's "Anabolic Synthesis". He'd say it's not good now, but it was PERFECT for that.

Enough of my ranting, that table is awesome. Why don't you try and remake that map?

I was thinking of doing that, but it was just so overly simple (like my levelsource entry "Rift of Ancients", it was constructed in the space of less than 48 hours. (that reminds me, i should submit ROA to massassi...). The ISU map was just a cross-shaped room with a crystal obelisk at the center.
