Well, I've been busy with work, so I haven't had much time to work on my level. Here's a few shots of the control room for the freighter hangars.

On a side note, please keep anything you post in here clean. The only pc in the house connected to the internet is my parents' pc, which has a web-filtering program on it. And if it detects a blocked word on a page, it just blocks out the entire page. Which is what happened on my last showcase thread. Which prevented me from gloating about getting SotD. So please, be careful of what you say, or have in your sig.

Now that I've taken care of that... Flame away!

shots 1, 3, 4... excellent!

shot 2 shows quite little so it's hard to judge.

the other three really have a nice atmosphere... dark, dank... maybe even deep? it's the lighting and the solid architectural style. very nice work.

the texture work is nice and simple... keep it that way if you can.

Thanks. Shot 2 was just looking out into one of the hangars. Unfortunately, the catwalks block most of the view. I kinda realized this a little too late.

Oh, and I'm really glad you like the dark, gritty atmosphere, because that's what I'm going for in this level series. I really want to try and recapture the dark feeling that JK had.

Reminds me a bit of AvP2 (that's a good thing)

Nice shots. But I must say the elevated surface of the floor doesn't make sense. If many people walked the corridor side by side, some of them would surely trip on it... Make it part of the floor but make it not rise above the common plane of the floor.

nice style, I mean I am a angle wall/light person myself.. Got to have the right light textures to fit the mood with the lighting.. and yeah I been busy with work too, so when I am on midnights, 6-10 and then prowl on my map.. plan so far.. crazy arnt I?

Other then that, Show beams, like the kind that you see supporting the floor above you, use your light idea as you have on the angled wall. Imply it onto supposed beams that support the upper level. Or a overhead light to brighten the place up.

Thanks for the comments. I'll work on the floor, and I'll see about making it a little bit brighter. Oh, and that's not another floor you're seeing. That's just some big strut-thing containing some pipes.

First thing that comes to mind when I see that is the hallway with the robot machines right before you go fight Malak in Knights of the Old Republic.

Looks nice, keep it up [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
