ye olde drawings
2004-06-30, 7:16 AM #1
Browsing through my vast collection of drawings I drew in the last 3-4 years, -I threw away all the older crap, they were too inferior and was done looking at them- I stumbled upon some drawings which I thought were pretty cool in some way or another and which I hadn's showcased (read: pimped to death on the internet) yet.
So yeah, I have like 9 drawings to showcase (of which 2 are brand new, the rest is old) and I thought of showcasing them 3 at the time because a) not to clutter things up and actually know which comment applies to what b) i'm way to lazy to scan/resize/convert/upload everything up all at once and c) I'll receive attention on a larger period of time :P

So here are the first 3 (chronolical order, oldest firs.)

I really love his face, it makes me smile every time [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] (<-- again see!)
twas also one of the first of my drawings with decent shading, though I've defenitely improved since then. I like the muscles too

Yay! Unnessacary large mechwarriors with totally useless swords and insane weaponry and legs that are just way to skinny to ever bare its weight! Weee!

I never draw robots anymore... Maybe I should put that on my to-do list. I'll put it under "conquer the world and become an omnipotent dictator to rule all mankind."

Batch 2:

Praying Princess

A Devil/Dragon kind of being, of which I really liked the composition when I drew it.

A more oriental-ish warrior in a more sketchy style of drawing. And chronologically we hit 2004.

And the last three for your pleasure:

I just like this one somehow, don't know exactly why. [/smug]

My obsession with putting thick black lines around everything shows clearly here. Note that this copied from a picture. So it's not anything that I made up, nor is it for a character in my book. And yes copying is stupid, but I did it to try/learn some thingies and therein it was partially sucessfull.

Dragon Slayer and the second polearm in this post. I tried to give this fellow a bit of an exotic look through some unconventional armour and weaponry(shapes).

Can't say I see it, but only because I hardly remember what the original sketches looked like to begin with.

Definately snifty stuff though [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
