You're getting better! I can already see that you're implementing a lot of new techniques. Try cutting up the blockiness next.

Blockiness isn't too bad with good lighting techniques. Don't get me wrong, unique architecture is key to a great level.
G-Man, if you ever post a level try to show more in your screenshots than just a corner or wall. That 3rd shot looks promising.

Give us a bit more to see, right now its a bit limited. Like the picture of the light, back it up so we can see the surrondings as well.

Yeah, I like the 3rd screenshot. It looks like that guy just beat the crap out of the other guy, broke the table, and calmly walked away. Very nice.

Your rooms may be blocky, but it looks like you've got lighting down a heckofa lot better than I did when I began editing. THat thired room screams suspense, I love it. However, if you wanted it to look really moody, you could add some beams horizontal to the ceiling and maybe four little alcoves to the sides with little cantina tables inside them. That wold lend some atmosphere.

Good work thus far! If it might help, consult my tutorial on Massassi about making interesting archi ===>>> Adding Character to Your Levels

The pink is probably because you are using two different color maps.

And the wood-beam mat wasn't designed for that color map. I think it was made to work with the baron's hed cmp. Switch to that and it should look fine.

You might want to work on the texture alignment. For that one rocky tunnel in the updated pics, click on one and press ; then click on another and press ' If you select each one after that and press the ' key then they should look great. At least I think >_>

And perhaps screenshots that show more of the level than a single wall. Although on that one map I can see my house! Well sorta.

Where do I begin?

Well, new textures a must. JK textures generally suck. Once in a while you can take a few of the better ones and make them work, but general advice is to avoid them when possible. There are plenty of good texture packs and sites out there that you can use.

Architecture. Blocky, blocky as hell. That "rock" tunnel for instance. Cut it up... Cleave off a bit of the sides, and start messing with them. There's a couple of tutorials on how to do this here on Massassi.

Lighting... Please, fix the skews. Once again, there is a tutorial on how to fix these, so we shouldn't have to be seeing them anymore. In one shot, your lighting looks great, but the rest, don't seem to have lighting, or if they do, are severely lacking the style and quality of the lighting.
