Severed Hand (Warning: Technically Gory)

Here are some pictures of a severed hand stump prop thing IU'm working on for a short film I am making. Its still in the works, needs some more paint and smoothing out/detailing the skin. I also have to add the blood tube. It'll be hitched to a pump so fake blood will squirt 3 feet. So hows it look?

... Absolutely terrifying...oh..wait..you meant the tube?
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

I find the picture highly comical. I don't mean the technical quality, in fact, it's very cool. But the acting of the person in the photo just doesn't match the situation, I think.

However, I think the stump looks like it has been in a grave for a few days. It doesn't look very lively. The color is not good, and like you said yourself, the skin needs to be smoother.

I hope the film can be downloaded some day, and you mention it here!

I'd have that expression on my face as well if my arm had just turned into a Pringles can.

Try making the thing more ragged at the edges. It sort of curves in on itself. But very good, classicaly cheezy.
