I am making a gameing website for my friend, here is my logo, a WIP. I need suggestions, as to, should I add more characters to it? what kind of background?

The DOOM demon has a different lighting source than the rest, but other than that, smashing.

Wow, nice photoshop skillz there SAJN. Personally, though, the current background doesn't quite agree with me. Maybe you could try something a bit more subtle - currently, I can't quite make out the characters in the foreground because of their similar shade and color to the background.

The background is perfect because the site is going to be called 'Chain Gamers' WHy it works?

1.) The background is from FarCry, another awesome game.
2.) There is a chain in it, w00.
3.) Chain Gamers...it's like Chain smokers..because games are addicting..yeah.. *cough*

Yeah the logo's a bit simplistic as is. If you could make the C and G stand out more in the links, it'd look a lot better.

Mayhaps the chains could be bigger if they are important subject matter in the picture. Chains as a theme didn't really come across to me at all until after reading that it was supposed to. Master Seargant or whatever is too lo contrast against the greenish background and he looks like a wierd blob coming out of demon's shoulder (or standing very very close behind him and contorting his torso, what's he doing back there?) Maybe a master seargant image with more lateral motion. I would use one with his sidearm protruding into the empty space in the center of the banner a bit Maybe invert demon image to get a unified light source? it does look good the way he leans toward center though so possibly invert then place the rh characters on the left. Other characters are very well done... looks like they belong there despite being from different games.

Why is 42689 so hard to remember? And the banner ad looks nice.

The chains are too obtrusive, make them smaller, perhaps more faded, and make it broken up and not in a perfectly straight line.

I would also suggest adding a bit of a monochrome tint. Like, suck out all the color but green, except don't do that. Just leave a little hint of the original colors. Right now the colors clash in a very strange way.

For a logo, you may considering something that says C gamers or CG and making some of the lettering out of chain.

Try writing the CG in sort of a chain like text, on the black space next to all the characters.
