Looks pretty cool, some textures would liven things up. The butt of the gun looks too corner-y IMO

This is retarded, and I mean drooling at the mouth

I agree about the corner-y-ness, however overall it looks like an excellent model considering it's only 460 polys.

May I ask which version of 3ds you're using?

hello sailor!
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Version 4(.2 I think). The M-16 is suppose to have that sharper corner at the butt, but its still rounded out, just the angle isn't exactly right. Maybe I should get board more often. Nah.

You're getting better, but there's no excuse for the polycount.

How do you find the polycount in 3dsmax? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]

Yes there is. There's WAY too many polygons for the level of detail. Now, if it were for JK, it'd be silly to have that number of polygons for such a low detail weapon. (not intending to show anyone up) I could do it in about 150-300 polygons, easily. 450 is quite high for it's detail.

Pffft. Amateur. I could easily do that in 6 or 7 polygons.

Banks and banks of humming machinery! I've never seen so many knobs. We're going to have to do something, Charlie! Try pushing that button there. No? How about that one? No, not that one either. I know! I'll try pushing this one. Hold my hat will you? Good fellow.

Most of the polys are around the barrel. I need to cut that down from 22 to 16 sides. I still haven't found out a way to count triagnles in 3ds max.
