It came out very grainy after scanning (due to carbon reflexiveness) so I edge-perserved it a bit.

I think it might be a gargoyle of some kind.
I drew this in Italy on vacation when I had little to do for an hour.

WAITER: Here’s your green salad, sir.

The music industry is a cruel and shallow money trench where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

This about shows the mental capacity of some of my friends:

artrape

Knowing the average mental capacity of massassi I thought I'd post this here too.

That is indeed very nice. The only thing I would change is that cloud that is covering the moon--it looks like it's coming out of his mouth or something. If you move it up a few inches it would look better. Not really a big deal anyway. And the artrape...it's bringing back my memories of junior high...noooo!

Banks and banks of humming machinery! I've never seen so many knobs. We're going to have to do something, Charlie! Try pushing that button there. No? How about that one? No, not that one either. I know! I'll try pushing this one. Hold my hat will you? Good fellow.

From a purely physical (and biological) standpoint, there are several problems with this picture:

1. His tail is larger than necessary for balance, and comes out wrong (it should come out more in line with the spine, not perpendicular to it).
2. The wings are waaaaaay too small to support that creature in flight.
3. The ribcage is far too small for a flying organism - the muscles that pull the wings downward (thus creating lift) need a strong attachment point, and the lungs need to be larger to handle the increased cardiovascular load of flying.

Bah, ignore that. It's a good picture. Kind of reminds me of Gollum. With a tail. And wings. And muscular arms. And horns.

That's why I draw fantasy art, to ignore all that [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

He is kind of out of balance though (unless he has a very heavy head or the picture is made at an angle)

Maybe he's sad because he can't fly. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

The picture looks just fine. He looks real enough to hug.
