Battlefield: Dune
[http://www.geocities.com/bearded_jarl/bfd.txt]
Set in the notoriously convoluted Dune-iverse, BFD covers the famous battles described in the books, illustrated in the films, and insinuated in the old Proto-C&C games. Choose to play as Atredies, Harkonnen, or Ordos and take control of the Universe. The Spice Must Flow.
Game: Battlefield 1942

The Big One
[http://www.geocities.com/bearded_jarl/jp.txt]
A mysterious bio-tech corporation has hired a team of mercenaries to destroy their abandonned facilities on a remote tropical island before competitors can arrive. Sounds familliar, right? Well, Umbrella would poo themselves if they saw what you're going to see. In fact, there are two direct hints to the truth of the matter in this poster. When the "Hostile Wildlife" threatens your very survial, it's time to bust out the big guns. For those of diminished intelligence, the secret is*this*.
Game: Unreal Tournament 2004

Star Wars: Extreme Measures
[http://www.geocities.com/bearded_jarl/sw-ex.txt]
The Yuuzhan Vong continue their merciless mission of conversion and assimilation, bringing them to the edge of victory. Enter Mirku Drang, Aken Lao, Vik Toarie, Kloran Darger, and the rest of the crew of the Jedi's Pride. Now, with Ithor's ruins still smoking and no safety in sight for the galaxy, the rag-taggiest group ever assembled is all that stands between a rogue Moff and unholy victory. Desperate Times call for Extreme Measures.
Game: Max Payne

-It's highly likely that I'll finish EX, but BFD and TBO are a little less concrete.

It's our All-American product. We got the idea from the Germans. The French hate it. It goes for half in Canada. The English have a version, but it's not so hot. There's cheap knockoffs in India. The Japanese are devolping a sleeker, sexier model. Made in China.

don't rely so much on 'neat' effects and gradients, filters, etc... start with a solid design and/or concept, THEN move on.

As it is, both sound interesting. The first poster is just a little overdone... gaudy text methinks.

Looks cool, but I think you should make the text easier to distinguish from the background.

Not half bad. Personally, i've never like one aspect of the Westwood Dune games: House Ordos. The problem with them is that they never existed in either the books by Frank Herbert or Kevin J. Anderson & Brian Herbert.
