Beautiful. You do realize that has more polis than the original, right? He needs a big badass sword, but I'm sure yer getting around to that... otherwise, what's the point? I'd go with Magus from Chrono Trigger if I was making a Square model... or maybe Watts from Sword/Secret of Mana... oh, don't forget Mog from FF3.

the face was taken off of a screen shot from a cutscene in the actual game.. what is wrong with the face?

well, u have to remember that in Final Fantasy a defining charactoristic is big feet... also, the way the camera is angled, it's closer to his feet than head...

The big triangle on the head is what makes it CLOUD.. if I took it off there would be no difference between this skin and any other. If you want me to get kyle, and change his hair blonde and give him blue eyes I will... but I think that would be stupid.. An excuse is that that's his Design.. not only in the game, but also in the concept art where graphics has no bearing. If he wasn't supposta have a big triangle on his head, why would they draw it that way?

Not to mention, the whole model is generally boxy... perhaps you should have not used a kyle base, that way the skin would look a bit more... not JK.

I do. They aren't shown ingame, generally, just because those were low poly models, however, they are clearly seen in the character sketch, as well as the background renders, and I think some of the CG renders. By background renders, I mean there were images made, background like, one for each character. Barret with his girl, Red in the mountains... and Cloud with sword on a bike. And the knobs are present in it.
