I hadn't contributed anything to the Showcase in a while. I don't have a functioning tablet at the moment but I wanted to work on something completely digital for a change. Inspired by some Gallic/Celtic cone-horned helmet, I set out and did this.
My aim was just to practice my mousework, use of colour, not to get all too bogged down (I'm guessing about 4-5 hours work total spread out over 3-4 sessions), and to still replicate/emulate/retain my real style of (physical) drawing. No background as such, and I was stumped over what to make him hold in his arms. I also resorted to linework for increased definition, not that it really bothers me, but I could've challenged myself more by not doing so. I don't like his right hand (the one under his left arm), but I'm done with it for now. I might revise it should I go back and figure out some kind of background.
I'm done with it for now:
Comments, reactions, questions, and critique are as always appreciated and welcome.

If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
