Banks and banks of humming machinery! I've never seen so many knobs. We're going to have to do something, Charlie! Try pushing that button there. No? How about that one? No, not that one either. I know! I'll try pushing this one. Hold my hat will you? Good fellow.

That sword deserves more polygons! You're sinning by mongering all the polygons for yourself! Polygon mongerer!

Skin is excelent, but JK can hadle more than 300 polygons for a sword model. I also see S51 won't be able to ***** about the grip-cloth's weaving, like he does in every other sword's thread ^_^

Needs to be smoother, ie: 5x the amount of polies.

The handle is awesome, the only thinkg is your blade seems to be a bit to curved, maybe it's just the angles of the pictures *shrug* Anyway, the thing looks badass the way it is, no need to add poly-poly-polyz

To assume that all katanas are shaped the same is complete ignorance, thats why I stated what sword I modeled it after. The sword you posted SAJN actually has a very odd curvature to it.

It also funny that Hatori Hanzo was mentioned because Paul Chen is like amodern day hanzo...

According to the film, Hatori Hanzo is the modern day Hatori Hanzo.

"Much better." It hasnt changed...

No more pics (I want to abandon my overshowcasing reputation...*looks at cazor)

-=Referring to the REAL sword and not the model=-
Acid etched hehe...This is a hand forged sword, the temper line (or hamon line) is caused by the cooling of the front edge. You can usually tell by the pattern, acid etched are usually very repetitious where hand forged swords are sparratic. If i could find a closeup of the blade itself you would probably see many individual lines which are a result of the folding process. Dont make the mistake of thinking this is a cheap $20 sword. His prices range from $150-$1500+ (according to the quality of the blade obviously)

Why do you need quality if you're the only one with a sharp pice of metal?

-I don't exactly see roving bands of rogue Samurai nowadays. Of course, I live in the ghetto, so I could just be sheltered.

Aha, ehehe, woops. It looks a lot better in that last shot because the light sword doesn't show its edges on the light background.

It looks great, though possible a few more polys could be spent on the blade making the curve look smoother. Other than that, good stuff. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
