Not gonna happen. First of all, this is what they looked like in the original LoG02, and second, I'm too lazy to spend that kind of time/effort on a product of boredom. :P

The ground texture is really blurry, and the trees are way too spars. As well, the white textures on the player's backs are painful to the eyes, and will be when playing.

Otherwise, that landscape makes me hard.

I was just thinking the same thing... :p

Looks great by-t3h-way! Is HellCat's terrain Generator behind the formation of that terrain by any chance?

Wow, nice terrain. Is that all sectors or did you use 3dos for some of the hills?

The ground is, ick, and the trees are too sparse, but other than that, it's golden!

It's all one huge 3do from Hellcat's terrain converter. I would have added more trees, but this was just a quick test for co-op and AI syncing, and everyone else was getting awful framerates anyway. :[

As for it being a RoX recycle, no. It's actually just retextures terrain from Hold the Line. :S

Trigger Happy Chewie is a mean and fat doppleganger! ;-)

Grismath, I have 1 acronym for you, connected to the possesive of a massassian's name for you:

GBK's RTVCS (I swear that isn't the right acronym, but it's got at least all the right letters, I'm sure. Just a couple extra :-D)

Well, GBK hasn't posted, so I will for him...
Yep, the RVTCS (Ranged Vector Thing Creation System), courtesy of GBK; ask him where to get it, cause I don't remember where he hid it [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

He gave it to me, and back in the day I made one to compete with his. So don't worry, I can hold my own with vector thing creation, I'm just hesitant about syncing dynamically created things in multiplayer if people are already having lag and framerate issues out the wazoo.

Shouldn't the things you're syncing not be involved with the VTCS anyway? I mean, trees are NOT going anywhere so that should all be handled locally.

Just make the AI an exception to the system because I can see that becoming pretty messy unless you built a special system just for them.

Btw, what are you using for synced AI cogs? Are you using nightmare's old cogs? I'm currently working on my own AI system, based loosely on rbots and am very curious as to what you're doing for your project.
