comments about the gun will get you banned. don't call my bluff
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

awesome, needs a little more on the soldier like a backpack or something, he seems kinda plain or maybe the pockets need a little work, or where the pants meet the boots/shoes? but it looks good either way.

and i cant call my bluff, i dont have his number, so im safe right? :p

Beautiful, but the stance with the right arm and the butt of the gun doesn't look natural, or like it makes much sense. Can you link to a bigger shot?

That guy looks like he's about to fall off of a cliff or something.
That painting was a gift, Todd. I'm taking it with me.

There's something about the helmet that bugs me. It's too small, and spherical or something.

I think he should be looking the other way, and he should be holding his gun lower. Nice work regardless. [/SIZE]

I like it, but I don't like it. The guy looks wooden, the whole thing emotionless, but the detail and thought put into it make it really nicely done. I love the folds in the clothing, and the way you accurately represented a human body (except the way he's holding the gun looks awkward, but meh). But still, it looks wooden, lifeless. If that's what you were going for, awesome, but if not, it needs some work.

Good stuff.

Edit: The guy's right foot needs to be pointing towards you, towards the person looking at it. Would make it look less awkward.

I like the dead solider lying in the background... it's so quiet, you almost don't notice him compared to the bold soldier in the foreground.

There have been some valid criticism here, but overall I like the picture, especially since there is the corpse in the backgrous. It's a very nice and well-thought-out detail.

Anatomy seams off..

EDIT: Especially his right leg (left on the image).

The right arm is fine, he's clearly in a relaxed, shocked position. That explains his left arm looking akward. Yeah, you know real people can be in akward positions, right?

Nonono, Emon's right. I edited it after Emon's post, sorry for not being clear right away.

His upper body looks great, but I think his lower body needs more contrast in shadowing to give it more depth. His legs look too 2d compared to his upper body.

I like how the distance fades in the darkness, it gives it a very creepy mood.
