And yes, I do know I missed the cutoff. I've expanded on my original one and am making it for Aliens. Its dark, but I'm mostly focusing on ambient things, such as noise, the monorail in the 1st pic, and sparks, for example. Theres others, but I'm not going to say any more.

Well, dark is good, but not THAT dark. And it looks too clean and well-kept to be a place of death. There should be more scary things on the wall like that 'MURDER' there.
DO NOT WANT.

Looks pretty good. The last couple dark shots could use some variation in lighting. Dark is good, but not a monotone darkness, use some small lights to break up the darkness a bit, or use dynamic lights to create animated lightsources.

Uhhh. maybe it's my new monitor speaking (laughs at all the people with old crappy burnt out monitors) but the level doesn't look too dark at all.
Think while it's still legal.

I know my monitor is FUBARed in terms of keeping a steady gamma, but those are really, really, REALLY dark. Seriously, most of those blended in to the page for me. My monitor might be FUBARed, but it isn't THAT FUBARed.

FUBAR is such an awesome word...

You don't need to add 'ed' to it. The word FUBAR is already past-tense.

Way too much unused space., I think. It makes it look very plain.

However, pretty good. Like someone else said, add some lights to give it some contrast.

Actually it's your gamma being turned up too high speaking. Go here: http://www.ltlimagery.com/monitor_calibration.html and follow their calibration guide, then come back. The images are WAY too dark. I'd suggest light to break up the monotony. Plus, you have custom textures; let us see them.

It is too dark. My laptop LCD, which is known for having overly-bright settings, and I can still barely make out the stuff

Turn your contrast all the way up, then get a black background and adjust the brigtness so it doesn't look so gray. :p

BTW... do you see what I see? DFLT! omgomgomg *is shot*

That's awesome! I love the scary textures.
That painting was a gift, Todd. I'm taking it with me.

I'm loving the blood on the wall, but that metal texture with the rivets that you're using really seems out of place.

Only a couple of shots look to dark to me, considering the atmosphere I think you're going for. But many of them look to uniformly dark. Throw some lights in here and there to make the lighting less boring and the level easier to navigate.

Whilst I'm in agreement that the screenies are possibly a little on the dark side, but I can see the content in them clearly enough and I...

LOVE IT !!! :D :D

Keep up the excellent work :D. The only screenshot to me that looks far too dark is the "Organic Storage", otherwise I especially like the lobby, offices, monorail and Live Specimen Area (in that order :) )

After a bout of Doom 3'ing, I can truthfully say that that is way too bright.
