Sorry for the derivative title.

Emptied the flashcard for my Canon Ixus400 laden with Finnish summer pictures. Went through and picked roughly a dozen which worked as wallpapers and resized/tweaked them.
Set to 1600*1200, feel free to resize to fit your own, if so inclined. Here are five of them:

Sisilisko (Don't know the name for it in English. It's one of those things whose tail falls off and eventually regrows if you grab it's tail.)

Hämä-hämä-häkki/Imse-vimse-spindel (*hugs Finland* no black widows, brown recluses or ugly Aussie spiders here)

Crux (rear facade of Pernå kyrka, where a set of my great-grandparents rest eternally)

Salamander (Or at least that's the Dutch name, but it sounds like it could be the English name too.)

Salamanders don't have scales. That is just some sort of lizard thing.

BTW it only regrows 1 time...The second time you rip it off, the little creature will die

It is a Common Lizard (Lacerta vivipera). The one I snapped a picture of seems to be a young male. Apparently they are quite common across the entire European continent and in Wales, except for on the Iberian Peninsula, Italy, and Greece. The ones in Scandinavia are a bit special, because in other areas they tend to live at 600+ meters (Finland is very flat), while here in Scandinavia they are usually found near lakeshores and in humid forests.

SAJN: that's a neat idea, placing your icons in an arch across the 8-ring.

Yeah, that plus it's Windows 2000, so I don't have transparency. If I had just lined em up i'd would have been UGLY.
