Hey guys, I've decided to show case some of my work, it's in its very early stages right now, but I think it looks okay enough to showcase, and I need some ideas to cluttur up the space inside that barrier with the light on it, because I'm lost for ideas ATM... but yeah, take a gander:

I would like comments on how to improve this puppy, questions welcome, any flames?

oooh sexy...but...hmm...to clutter up the level. Put some trash-can things here and there. And people. it's a city, it needs people...and some authority of some time...be it ST or Gonk...it needs authorities. I'd try and make something like the money thing in BHRPG, but don't do the classes. I COULD come up with more ideas, but I'm tired so i'll leave it at that. Look's good man, keep it up ;)

I like it. The only thing that bugs me is those blank walls surrounding it all. Maybe add some rectangular pillars jutting out with lamp things on them. Nice work though.

by the way, if the level is big enough, make a rich part of the level, and a ghetto-y part of the level. If you do it right, th player SHOULD be able to tell when he's in the ghetto, and when he's outside the community center, and when he's outside the richest guy in town's house

It seems a bit abandon. Prehaps add some more architecture and objects that show the place seems like a place to live in.

A very decent beginning. You need civilians, I might have a good cog for you in a few days. And an ATM, you need an ATM.

looks great! to improve you could add lots of different housees and shops in the courtyard area, and the ghetto/rich person area sounds like a good idea.

I agree with all the suggestions. And hey, maybe even put up advertisements like you see in Coruscant and Nar Shaddaa. Some Imperial propaganda posters (if this is even a city controlled by the Empire) would give it some atmosphere as well.

Needs a whole lot of work, but solid as is. You could find 100% better textures.

Dude.. the whole point is that I'm using atleast 90% original JK stuff, to keep it real, and I want the atmosphere to be similar to the original JK, I'm making this MP btw... maybe have some update pics in a day or two...

That's really awesome, and I totally respect the decision to use JK textures. Consistency is king, for me at least, and though beautiful, photorealistic textures may look better on the showcase forum, they make all the JK powerups, models, and skins look horribly out of place. That being said, the only constructive criticism I can offer is to do something about that neon sign...it doesn't fit right with your theme!

I think it looks great... However, I do agree on the neon sign. Perhaps you should make only the letters lit up, and you shouldn't use any text that we can read... Use Star Wars text instead.

Oh, and one texture, that has the light strips down it, seems to be out of place among the others (I fogot the name of it, despite it being one of my favorites)... I'd reccomend switching it to something else.
