I spent about an hour working on this and this is what I have so far. Took me a while to get the pointy ears to look right :\

For once I can mention Batman on these forums in a context other than Holy Thread Necromancy! ;)

Good, job, as usuall, Slaw!

[EDIT: Also, will you be able to animate the cape? that would rock, not to mention up the realism factor 200% It's no fun watching JK charcter's walking around with a cape that looks like it's got rigid, steel meshing inside of it.]

Well, it's already better than the BFP2 one :)

We want spiky armguard fin-thingies!
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.

Looks just like him! Textures will look great. Cape animating would be nice but I could imagine it being very hard.
Spoting an error in post will result in a $100 reward.

Beat me to it.

And as for the model, It's probably the lack of textures that make the biggest difference.

Saying that, I agree, maybe a couple of things could be tweaked. I'm thinking batman's spikes on his gloves as well as those boots - they just don't look quite right. Also, the chest needs to have some more defined abs - comeon, this is batman we're talking about here. :p

I just think there needs to be a more noticable transition between his upper body and lower stomach. Not necessarily anatomically accurate, but it makes him look more like how he does in the cartoons. It depends on which you're basing him off of.

Perhaps make his chest more like this:

Added fin thingies on arms, played with fin things on head some more. I'll model on a utility belt a little later.

Head spikes need to be:
• Thinner

Chest needs a lot more work, and a lot more polygons.

Seriousely... who the kak looked at the batsuit from batman 1&2 and thought "hmm... could use some nipples!"
