The IMI Desert Eagle .50 cal.

3dsm 4.2, build time for this model 2.5 hrs, total w/ all previous models that crapped out on me, 6-8hrs. :(

Damn those are awsome guns. The barrel is slightly long, which looks really cool.

It looks like its supressed (maybe it is, but i dont know a **** of guns :D)

BTW. There are a lot of weapon models schowcased, what are they trying to rebuild...All the matrix weapons :p

the handle looks pointy and hard to hold. on the whole, your models are getting better, but most of them are still too flat. you work well on the x,y planes, but not so well on the z plane. expand

I just extended teh barrel out to be able to attach a silencer. And wait until I post an FN 5.7 :p

And I keep forgetting to mention this :o but its for JK Pistol Mod. I keep it flat(ter) because the hand will cover up all those extra polys.

I agree with Ford, and you can't give "polygons" as an excuse. Spend them more wiselly, or simply make a mod for higher end machines.

You didn't read his post well enough. He said he wasn't going to bother, because the handle on them would be hidden inside the player model's hand. Also, since it would be JK, you're not likely to see it up close enough to notice when it's one the ground.

As well, there's NO excuse for the renders.

I'm tired of people making their renders look all fancy with shading and smoothing etc. It's like you're trying to hide something. Can we see a wireframe or flatshade?

... That's because you won't see the "smoothness" of the handle connecting to the barrel. The player's hand will be in the way. Why waste polys on something you're never going to see in-game?

The Desert Eagle doesn't need an extended barrel for the scilencer ! ! !
