Was it supposed to make sense?
It was filmed alright, but it could have been done better.
Some of the camera angles were bad, tripods could have been used instead of handheld filming at some points. The text on the screen goes by too fast during that first scene.

I thought it was good until the rabbit part, then it kind of went down hill. The Marco Pollo joke was okay, but it could have been played out better. As well as the window cleaning part. It was funny at first, then it kind of went on.

P.S. Way to hump the tripod.
Think while it's still legal.

well, MB... my room isnt a set with removable walls. we couldnt use tripods everywhere for that scene. we actually did use it everywhere it could be used, but yeah...

So you work with your enviroment and figure out what would be the best camera movements. :P
Anyway, dont get me wrong, you did a good job with what you have here. The Office Scene was my favorite.

That was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time, and I just saw Shark Tale, which was funny as hell. This beats taht. :D :D

I can now see what you meant when you said Jory was hard to work with!

It was pretty good for what you had. But I swear, if I ever again have to see you hump or lick anything, especially on video...

Am I meant to be amused?

I mean, the rabbit part was pretty funny, but the movie was okay, and it was very slow in places not to mention totally incoherent. If I had all that editing software, I'd really make something good. You need to see my Odyssey movie sometime, it's not great, but at least it flows somewhat. :-/

Something I did think was awesome though was opening titles. The music was good and the background graphics were spot on.

what parts were inchoerent?

because it does take an even deeper thinking process to get most of this than the orignal matrix movie.

if you thought the guy pulling out the windex(actually, that was tank in desguise buying porn and when neo met him on the neb it was gonna be a running joke about him being the guy who bought the porn) then try and remember when neo's boss was talking to him... and they were washing the windows... and yeah... yeah its just dumb humor.

sadly, most of the best stuff me and david had in the script never made it to the movie. the only ideas we loved about what we got done was the rabbit, spank the monkey, and the marco polo.

The reason why it didn't flow well was because of the long and painful scenes. The camera should switch at least every 30 seconds, if not every 20. The only ecception to this is pans, zooms, and long shots. Even then, something has to be HAPPENING to keep the camera stationary for that long. Watching a guy cleaning windows for a minute and a half is an insult to the viewer's attention span. We realize he's washing windows, we assume he's going to wash them all. Showing him wash them all isn't helpful. Time lapses are your friend.

eh. it was more like 40 seconds... but its more noticable when the whole movie is only about 7 minutes long. take into consideration that the projected length was 45 minutes or more. we thought it might be the 30 more seconds someone would need to make the connection between it and the orignal movie, and people still dont get it.
