The top graphic is very incomplete, it's essentially a placeholder. The links menu will eventually be drop-down (once I find a decent enough script) and will have a login box on the right. You can tear the rest apart, whether I listen to you or not is another matter :p

One problem I had: Since the text was so eye-burningly small (personal preference, so I won't nitpick that), I changed the text size in mozilla to something I could bear, and upon doing that, the text in the "communication" button overlapped the button itself, looking quite odd. Doesn't sound very easy to fix. :\

Up the text size, and I don't like the red colors. But otherwise its a kickass and original design.

Pale blue on red isn't the easiest to read. Other than that, I like the colour scheme.
I'd also echo everyone else's comment about making the text a little bigger.

I also prefer sites that aren't fixed width, but I seem to be in the minority on that point

I'm planning on making it a bit wider and upping the text size. My reasoning behind going fixed width is that there's a maximum line length that people can comfortably read anyway so I may as well make it look nice in the mean time.

The yellowness is my only gripe. Looks great otherwise.

The yellow is a test, i'd have hoped you all realised i'm not quite that insane.

There isn't a dropdown menu script, the dropdown menu doesn't work in IE or Opera.

Theres a problem with the corners of each box flickering when I hover the mouse over the boxes, in IE.
