I got bored and decided to work on this...

to do list:

-Work on the outter ring some more
-find or make some decent textures
-add glyps to the inner ring

I know there is better gates out there... but this is my attempt.

eh...heh... Maya... I know the program can make it look so much better, but i'm just messing around with basic shapes... might make one alot more detailed later on...

The gate horizon isn't transparent. :) Other than that it looks pretty good.

You're kinda right, the front isn't transparent, however, the back side is.

yeah, I found out that the event horizon is transparent like ten min after that pic... i'm working on it later today if i have time.
