went through the teaser and found a pose of the final duel i really liked, blew up the photo and ran some filters through it. im not saying i did a lot, but i liked how they turned out. i cant wait for this movie.

I still don't get why everyone is suddenly claiming this will be a great movie and forgiving Lucas for his past wrong-doings.

Why do they both have the same color lightsaber? That seems like a big no-no in a proper duel, mainly because you can't distinguish between who's who in that pic, and also because it incorrectly represents the classic "red = evil", "blue/green=good" theme. :/

I think that's the point. The whole anakin turning to the darkside thing, good turning to evil.

yeah... its pretty easy to see who is obi wan and who is anakin. the way obi and anakin's clothing fits to their bodies, the length of their hair, and how anakin's leather shines from the lava.

maybe during the duel anakin changes his lightsaber blade to red. what it could happen?

Oooh! In Episode 4, Obiwan says to Luke "This was your father's lightsaber" and gives him a BLUE lightsaber. So, during the duel, I'm assuming that Anakin dropped his lightsaber on the ground before he fell in the lava and Obiwan picked it up. So, when Anakin is back as Darth Vader, equipped with breathing mask and all, he probably reconstructed a new lightsaber which represents his evil (red).

That is why Lucas probably gave Anakin a blue-colored lightsaber for this duel with Obiwan, so it would fit in with the rest of the story. =]

what!? an ignorant person who cant see that episode 1 and 2's storylines are close to perfect, and the only reason they were bashed was because of the use of CG and bad actors other than ewan mcgregor!?

seriously. if you're gonna bash the prequels, dont bash one of the strongest parts. it makes you look dumb.

now... oh yeah... what was this thread about? oh yeah, wallpapers.

I was just joking; I actually liked the first two movies (I'll even admit that I kinda liked Jar-Jar.) The only thing I didn't like was the midichlorien (sp?) thingie. I liked The Force being mysterious.

Anyway though, I love the pose/scene you picked. I've always been a fan of pictures right before the action, when you can see both sides starting to attack.

Actually a friend of mine has heard from some insiders and Anakin uses a red saber a lot in the movie. Apparantly he gets the saber after he turns evil and kills all of the younglings with it, and then during the duel obi wan cuts off his good hand, and with his mechanical hand he pulls out the red saber I dont know how much of that is accurate, but wouldn't it be cool... not to mention logical considering he has a red saber on the teaser poster...
