The beginnings of a long overdue intention. Who knows how far it'll end up...

What exactly are you showcasing here? Whatever it is, I likes.

Dual saber animation SS for a jk dual saber mod. That's just the first pose, as I said, beginnings. And thx :)

Planning on fully animating all movements:

-Stationary stance
-Attacks:Stationary(2),forward(1-3), backward(2), strafing(2), secondary(1)
-Probably recycling/modding-to-fit existing: walk forward/back, strafe, run, jump/land and duck/duckrun
-Block/s (1 or 2)

I think that's it, let me know if I missed any...

The fighting system is still up in the air... But I'm going to do my best to make sure it's as practical as old-fashioned jk sabering, instead of just eye candy. The best games that give illusion of control (feeling). I really don't like the JO/JA fighting systems....

Also, there's gotta be a point to using both... I'll either have each click deliver both sabers swinging, or alternating sabers per click. You'll possibly be able to deliver attacks faster using 2 sabers but of course the penalty would be the lack of defense if you choose to take advantage of that speed.

Also there could be a basic combo system...

And, another thought is a counter attack (block with one, primary damage with the other), but I think that's too far from the game's limitations, especially since saber-locks are non-exist...

I'd really like to see it get finished, so simplicity is something to consider here.

Looks nice, something about the left leg bothers me though, it just doesn't look right, maybe it's just the perspective. I take it you understood the tutorial I gave you, or did you find a different way of getting dual sabers? Either way, I'm really looking forward to this. Keep up the good work. :)

I still have your tutorial, just haven't done anything until now. ;) I was working on a saber blade mod not long ago if anyone remembers. On that one I managed to get some pleasing results with mat-based sabertrails but there was one bug I could not repair.... (the tip was WACKED! too big and I couldn't get around it by taking the tip off and changing the length, i was getting messy results with swapping lengths....) Hopefully I can get that working aswell before this is ever released, if that even happens lol.

PS. yes the perspective is a bit strange there, but from other angles it's good :)

I suggest that, if you could, add this to SBX. Still make your own mod, but adding this to SBX would be quite an addition.

Running with 2 sabs. Legs and hips only, the rest hasn't been touched so it's still stiff. I find it doesn't look too bad like that, so i'll probably move on to the next animation and come back to tidy it up later.
