I don't know... I think the lasers are the right size. Otherwise, awsome work!
No sig.

Hmm, you've got a point there.

How's these instead - removed or edited some of the shots and updated the second one.

The others look odd, but the second one of the new shots looks great.

Cool, although the lasers look way too blurry.

Can you make it a little less blurry. Now, don't misunderstand, I don't mean remove it entirely, just make it slightly less blurred.

I think the ships should be in focus. Cool though, even if that's not a really smart thing they're doing. :p

'The Passage' is perfect, if you deblur it I might have to kill you.

I knew someone would take it the wrong way...

I only meant that, compared to the ships, the asteroids were slightly over blurred for my tastes.

Well, I added a stronger blurr effect to the asteroids to increase the feeling of speed.

Imagine it as a movie - the camera is moving backwards through the field with the fighters passing it at high speed.

Aye

It's probably just my preferance. Everyone else likes the blur as is, so go ahead and leave it.

Of the first four pictures, I like the first of the second pair the most. Does that dude in the background look any good with about twice as much transparency?

That's the thing--if it was a movie, the camera would be focused on either the asteroids or the ships (or one of the ships, even). It wouldn't have both of them out of focus. You need more pictures of non-blurry ships. :p

Blurring issues aside (seems like only some of the ships are moving) I'd say that it looks like great work; your models are superb, and the lighting is well done. If you had the resources on hand, I would've reccomended taking your TC and making it into an entirely new game (though unfortunately, a license to a decent 3D engine that isn't crap in performance and technology costs thousands of dollars)

Yeah, but Han Solo was in a tricked-out freighter, trying to escape from a Star Destroyer. This is a group of fighters and VERY large cruisers trying to penetrate an asteroid field that looks much denser than the one in Star Wars. :p

@Nottheking, in fact that's been my greatest dream for like six years - a game or a movie - or both :)

Now...i like the first one...(newer set). But the second one still looks a bit messy, i mean, there are SO MANY of that ships.

the astroid thingy is great

The passage definately needs some blur reworking. I think the ships need to be de-blurred by about 90%. Except for the big ship in the back. It needs some more blur, seriously.

If you where to pull the fighter ships (or maybe just a couple of them) into focus and give it zoomed out look (almost as if its warping just a little bit, but not to the extent of like hyper-space)and MAYBE increase the blur, the image would seem to pop more. But don't eleminate ALL blur from the ships. Then they'd look pasted on top.
