Description: An alternate take on the Disrupter Rifle, this one instead manufactured by Kuro Industries (as In Kurosawa). It operates on the same technology as the Tenloss model: High energy pulses that mollecularly destabilize organic tissue. However, this one works by charging up an energized bolt of air (like the Conc Rifle) which explodes, creating a disruptive shockwave (like a combo of EMP gun's secondary and Disrupter's primary), that is, of course, shiny glowy and green. I like green. It's calming.
If you want it, come and claim it. I ain't texturing it unless some sort of magical gift of talent is bestowed upon me by the Blue Fairy.
I made sure to add some extra detail. I included the trigger handle, but no trigger. I included a dangly wire thing that seems just dangerous to have hanging from a weapon like the Disrupter. I also included arm braces and a sight.

Which side is the business end? o.o If it's the broad part, it wouldn't be a highly accurate weapon, very cannon-ish too, if it's the narrow end, it's impossible to wield.

Needs some refinements and I don't quite know which is the buisness end also. And I agree it looks like a torch. so to sum it up, refine it, but its a good base.

Sounds like a BFG to me.

A simlpe isometric view of the front. You should be able to see the grip there, the big bump that just juts out of the cannon.


An orthographic view of the disrupter (heretofore to be referred to as "Disrupter Cannon" as it seems more fitting than "Rifle". Again, the basic structures should be obvious: grip, barrel, dangling wire thingy, and thick shield on the side for bracing and, possibly, for shielding from attack.


The other side of the cannon, revealing a crudely extruded ridge for god knows what reason sticking out of the arm shield.


Now here's the money shot. See the red part about six inches into the barrell, protected by shielding and arm braces? That's the trigger handle (what is the proper term for the handle with the trigger on it, anyway?), nestled where no sharpshooter can shoot it out of your hands, and no jedi can slice it off.
Well, I guess they could, couldn't they? But some maniac with a vibroblade would be impared in his attempts to do the same.


That's the idea. It IS a big... fg. The way it should be. It's basically a remake of the Shadows disrupter rifle in terms of firepower, and I felt the design should reflect that.

-That, and I've been playing the UT2k4 demo a lot, and I fell in love with the huge honking guns that cover the whole freaking arm and are, like, 6 feet long and weigh 267 pounds.
