Hello, everyone. I finally have more time to work on Life of Grismath 03 for MotS, and you can see some of the results here.
This is the Cave Climbers sidescroller sequence that I showcased earlier in its latest stage of development. I'm pretty much finished with it for now. Once everything else is finished, if I haven't reached the surface limit, I might come back and add some more detail, but the nuts and bolts game mechanics of this area are down with one gravity exception.
Here's a scene from a puzzle Grismath will have to pass in order to penetrate this castle. As you can see, I've come a long way from my previous showcase of this area.
I've also worked some more on the rain, and once I complete some more vector calculations I'll get it scrolling. I've finished all the code for this as well.
My current goal is to get everything finished up to the interior of the castle.
Anyway, I've projected a release by the end of the year, so sit tight and don't go anywhere until then.
