Ok well, Saw Dexy's Midniight Runners on SNL last night.

Anyway, I came up with a method that is fairly easy and makes decent movies. Test animation:

Yes, the saber and the llight from it does flicker, you can't rightly tell at such a low resolution though, that, and it's a subtle effect anyway.

Nevar, EVAR use Indeo video codecs again.

A. They're horrible.

B. Lots of people don't have the codec.

C. It sucks at compression.

D. It's buggy as hell. (On 3 of my systems, it only plays on one, and only in one media player. And yes, the codec is on all systems)

But the animation looks cool :D

Ah good to know, I'm flexible - what Codec would you recommend? I literally just picked one (the first one I picked didn't work.)

XviD is a really good one, but you have to download it.

If worse comes to worst, you should probably pick with Cinepak. It's got crappy compression, but it plays on damn near every PC made in the past 10 years (Even installed on Win95), and is really freakin fast.

But I would recommend XviD. Download it, and use that, if you don't have it already. It's decently fast, it has awesome compression, high compatibility (anyone who watches videos has a high chance of having this codec), and isn't nearly as buggy.

The animation is really short, less than 1 second, and is in low resolution. I'll make a new one and use a different codec to encode it.

It was quite (=too) short, agreed, but it looked very good.
