Hey guys, I took a pic and edited, keep in mind it took no skill to make, I just want comments on the look of it, for art's sake.
(It's me in the pic btw.)

So what do you think?

The letters need to be placed differently if you want it to read as "Saint." Right now it just looks like a bunch of letters. Maybe you should have the word underneath the cross.
[01:52] <~Nikumubeki> Because it's MBEGGAR BEGS LIKE A BEGONI.

If an idiot can weld a few pieces of metal together, spraypaint it, and call it art, this is certainly art.

Wait, did you just call yourself an idiot?

It's not all that bad. Another case where simple makes good :)
Who made you God to say "I'll take your life from you"?

I never said that I considered modern art to be art. And at least with welding the metal together, he's actually making something instead of having something do the work for him. That's the difference.

That looks fairly nice for a simple black/white throw together image. While I might suggest getting a better pic to work with than that, I can safely say that you've gained a degree of mastery with using the Photoshop filters; virtually no good image can be produced (not to be confused with required) without some use of them.

I have to say that that was my first impression from the letters, as well.

Well, I don't see so much of a difference; that wielder isn't joining any steel; it's his tools that are doing the work. Photoshop is a tool as well, as are pencils and paints.
Wake up, George Lucas... The Matrix has you...

All the tool is doing for a welder is joining the metal together. The welder decides where to put everything. I'm not saying that anyone who uses filters loses credibility. I use them all the time. They just aren't supposed to be used to make the art because you're not doing any work.

Especially in this case. All it would have taken was a black paint brush, and very little time. Comparing a filter to a pencil is not a valid comparison.

And that's YOUR opinion, quit insisting you are right, because you're not. I decide when/where to apply filters, add text, and give the picture the atmosphere it has.

Well... I'm probably not the first to post this or anything, but Monoxide
