I don't think anyone (in their right mind) could honestly accuse you of being cliche. Project after project you pump out, I can't help but be bowled over by the creativity and originality factor present in you work. Keep it up mate, this is some truly incredible stuff! :)

i wouldn't say 'project after project'. but that's a good thing. I saw this thing like a month ago, it looked good. I see it now, it looks better. That's what I like :).

Excellent work. Your style (that has become evident in your levels) of minute mechanical details really gives your maps an amazing feel. Kudos.

Yeah but each one of these projects look amazing so there is really nothing wrong with having multiple ones on the fly.

I *just* figured out what that blimp reminds me of... it's the one from 3Dmark05.

Looks really cool. Textures are a bit bland.

To tell you the truth, never cared much for your previus projects or maps, they looked well constructed, but where not to my liking. I do however REALLY like this how this one is looking. The textures could use a bit of variation, but all in all it looks good.

As usual, your work is stellar Mute. Sadly, i don't like the aesthetics of your mapping-style (too organic for my taste).

That aside, its a good effort. keep it up.

Awesome, reminds me of Myst 3.
2004-12-13, 5:16 PM #25
You can convert a bsp to a map using bspc (The same program that makes bot path files for q3). Be warned, though: It won't be pretty. Patches are especially mutilated.
2004-12-13, 5:39 PM #26
Or you could just use Q3Map2's built in BSP -> MAP function.

Yeah. It works well, but textures sometimes get screwed up, and tiny brushes get indefinite plane errors or something along those lines... but it's helped me recover a few maps successfully.

Looks good, textures are a bit bland. I would make that skybox into a portal sky... like the one rgoer used in his docking tower but I'd say, use some deep blues and purples.
