hehee

I dunno if you put that grain in the image, but it makes it look ugly. C4d (im assuming your using taht) has some nice wood textures that come with it.

A nice picture, and definitely a good idea.

But I think it should be the other way around in the charger. It looks like it's now plugged in the force crystal end first, which can't be right. Some exhibition had replicas of the movie props, and if memory serves, the other end contained the power cell. Though I'm not sure if you can charge it like that or if you have to replace the power cell like a battery.

That's really really stupid.

I mean seriously. that's not original at all.

...

...

We have much smaller chargers now, that plug into hte wall and can just plug from the wire right into the lightsaber.

Or, car adapters are very convenient.

But a bug grotesque charger like that? That's sooo 5 years ago, totally unoriginal.

;)
nice work.

I don't believe that many Jedi would have to be concerned about that. XD If I recall it well, I've read that a power cell of a lightsaber lasts a century before it needs replacing. So only Yoda had to worry about replacing his lightsaber about 8 times.

In any case, nice work. =D

I know you're German and English is not your first language, but it's kinda irritating whenever I go into a thread on the showcase forum, and you just repeat the same word over and over again (or a similar variation) in every single one of them. :-/

Ahhh...let me see here. He's using the slang german term "nice" which means, and I think I'm translating it correctly, "I like the integration between the model and the background picture. The model itself is pretty good, but perhaps more detail can be put into the light sabre". I may be wrong on the translation though. Do we have any official german translators?

The only thing is that I can see the polygonal shape of the bottom of the charger... unless it wasn't suppose to be round. Other than that, me likee.

You can see the edges of the polys in the render. You should have smoothed them out in 3dsmax, other then that, its cool :p
