The hood is messed up, the door is messed up, the model is incomplete.

It's supposed to look like a jeep. Those of you lucky enough to use a PNG friendly browser will enjoy the alpha channelled portion, blending in to the background of this here forum. Yay!

So yeah, it's my second model ever, the first was a rock. I'm really liking Blender, I've tried to use it before but now it seems to be falling in to place well enough.

Wow that sucks!!..!... unless it's supposed to be a Jeep. In that case, it's really good. ;)

Its a good start, and if you want my ideas, read on, if you like the comment thus far, skip to the next person who posts after me. And one more thing, what program did you use to make it?

Ideas/suggestions on improvements:
- Round off the edges of the tires
- Push in the middle of the tires, just alittle if you want hubcaps, if not, go deeper inside
- add thickness to the door and windshield frames
- tho I'm pretty sure this is the wip part, but add in the back part, such as seats and a bed if you're going to include one insted of a solid back, in any case, be sure to include some thinkness to that

ask if you aren't clear w/ what I'm suggestions.

I'm familiar with what a model should be doing in a game, but new at making them :)

That said, I really really appreciate the tips :)

Ok, added the hardshell, but not really the windows for it or the roll bar. All parts, 'cepting the wheel wells, have 'thickness' to them and the jeep has a bed. I know the edges can look boxy and whatnot - I really can't aford the polys for the application I have planned for it.

Oh yeah, and the wheels are just temporary, in the end, they'll be one model attached to bolts, in the same fashion that a gun is in a players hand in JKA.

Nice work, Wudan. Especially for your second model! Just remember to keep working on Dragon! :D

Hey, speaking of Blender, can you recommend any good tuts for it?

The front bumper is a bit screwy for a jeep....along with other minor proportion problems. Also, you should add more detail....especially sicne the grill and headlights are the best part of a jeep!

Criticisms aside, that rocks, especially for only a second model. Keep up the good work.

Ok, added a grill type thing. Not sure if I like it. I realize those are poor headlights, since it's just an inverted cone. I figured I'd make a headlight later rather than sooner.

I see the beginnings of another talented modeler :)

couple things, if its low poly, do something about the head lights, it also looks like theres a scrap poly sitting in there or something is funky about it, might just want to focus there and clean it up a bit :)

also I can see through some of your seams, usually means some vertexes need to be welded or positioned. easy to do when finalizing anyway
