Some of my artwork. I'm thirteen and I guess I consider myself FAIRLY good at drawring...There's a lot of very talented artists on this site that I look up to. I'm a noobie at Massassi, so I really don't much about thish place. Comments please?

Btw, the rest of the site is not exactly meant to be "top of the line". Just something for me and my friends.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Wow, you're way better than I am, and you're a a year younger. The most I can draw is stick figures. :(
DO NOT WANT.

That's pretty good. I used to draw stuff in class as well; mostly spaceships. But now I have a handheld computer, and all the fun that comes with that.

Dangit, I thought I was talented and then you had to come along and spoil everything. :(

Those were pretty good. The dragon was the best.

Not bad, especially for your age. You have a good start, but if you want to get anywhere with it ween yourself off the anime style (second image), with any luck it will die out in a couple years. Not to say I hate it, it just promotes terrible art...

I love seeing young artists before they learn the techniques that separate doodles from artwork. If you want tips, just ask, I'd be happy to do what I can :)

I like your style, especially for a 13 yr old. Keep at it and look at reference pics of your prefered style and work towards developing your unique trait, and I really like that dragon, and don't worry, I don't know how many times i have been in trouble for drawing in class (mainly in maths class) good luck on your journey...

Probably about the same quality or better than my artwork when I was your age. It shows promise. I'd suggest you'd start to learn shading and lighting or if you want to go more in the manga or cartoony way inking and stuff. Though I'd personally much rather like to see the first.

Aargh, t3h <blink> tags...
Anyway, the drawings rock. Hope you'll get a good art teacher to further develop your talent.

Thanks for the comments guys. It's really encouraging to see some of them coming from artists that post in these forums.

Anyhoo, I've found some pictures that I drew a while back. I'll be scanning and uploading them tonight...hopefully. Stay tuned! :)

Hey Final Hope you're real good, try to stay away from wasting talent on anime crap. Kthnxbye.

I like the last picture the best (of Dante from Devil May Cry) but his bottom have doesn't match up to his top half. Like, his legs are backwards or something.

Actually, anime is animated, so your suggestion doesn't work as intended.

Sorry, I mean, don't waste your talent on crappy manga.
Kthnx.

Start up a small cartoon just for fun

Didn't I tell you to stop breathing? Seriously. Berating him for using a certain style is not something you should pride yourself in.

Trust me, if you want to do manga/anime, please do. Just don't suck at it. Take some notes from the greats--Otomo Katsuhiro, etc. When done right, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with anime.

Except it sucks.

I wasn't saying his artstyle was manga-ish, I could defineatly see some influence, but for the most part it was pretty good work.

God, you seriously need to keep your bigoted and utterly wrong opinion out of any future art discussion. I'll be the first to bash anime kiddies and to bash crappy anime, but if done right, it as a style is no worse than any other style.

Don't listen to a thing this guy says Hope, just kick more *** and do more scanning :D
