OK, here's my first go on a under/over-water surface for XWA. The textures still need tweaking, some meshes must be splitted and I need to rework and improve the engine glow used for the various fog effects.
How good the final surface will look, heavily depends on the actual lighting in the mission - pic 5 shows the effect of bad lighting in skirmish.
Apart from scaling them down, those pics are not edited.
Although actually intended for below the water surface, the fog does its job well.
