Some explanation of this alien creature.

Like us, they evolved climbing through trees (arborial), but their planet has many differences. The sun of the Faenin homeworld is red shifted, by which I mean, they dont have the same light as we do, their "sunlight" ranges from infared to yellow visible light.

And through evolution, they have used this light to their advantage. On their planet they had predators, beasts the size of elephants but feirce and meat eaters, and when not spending time in trees, they use their skin to their advantage. Blue objects do not show up clearly in red light, whereas red objects are very bright, so its a sort of camoflage idea. (Hope the science behind that is correct)

I have about 3 pages of background info on their evolution and advancement, and their subsequent enslavement by a god like race called the Sagitterean (sp).

heres the orginal sketch:
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Pretty.
And pretty cool.

It's an ancestor of the asgard! (asguard for you weird spellers)

The head reminds me of the ancient asgard in the research lab (revelations)

I like it, but it seems a little too thin if you ask me. Also the tail's too short (unless you want to say it's the perspective)

baring in mind, the creature comes from a planet with lower gravity, which is in fact a moon that orbits a gas giant.

it has a very slender build, it evolved as a climber of trees, though the trees arent the same as we have them on earth.
Its tail was once much longer to help it climb, just as we did as monkeys. But it hasnt lost its tail in its evolved form.

And should not bear any resemblance to an asguard.
Its eyes are smaller, its taller than a human (7 ft tall) and its large head is in fact resulting from its tendril/tentacles ("hair" for lack-of-a-better-word) having been tied back into a small pouch at the back of its head. its head is actually quite narrow.
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Its legs look too short for a being that stands upright. But I like it, good work. :)

Its 'feet' look too weak to rally support it. Either add more fingers or make them stronger looking.
DO NOT WANT.

I agree with the leg comments. I like how you've designed it and explained why it looks how it does through evolution.

Agreed. It might look even better if you shifted the hips up to those gill looking things on the sides.

got bored, did another one.

Sagittarean.

Will do proper images of these soon after mod.

The background is distracting, but that looks much better. More stable.
