Ok those that are good with designs i'm here to ask a favor.

I'm thinking about getting another small tattoo on my lower back or just somewhere.

Anyways I'm not sure what to get, and I'm sincerely wondering if u all could design something. Aaron I know u are good with sketches, as well as others on here.

I want some ideas. Just as a little background I dont want anything cutesy. I like things that are edgy, maybe balance of sensual.

for instance the ONLY way i'd get a flower is if the petals were razor blades and it looked like the blades were cutting my skin and i was bleeding. i dotn know it's just how I am. I already have a scorpion with a bleeding heart so I need something new. Something technology based, futuristic and something hot.

This is a sincere request so if anyone comes up with any designs please post them on here I'd love some ideas!

well seeing as im a huge fan of rathervain and his work i was thinking along the lines of his very own symbol, i know getting this would man im his slave or whatever but meh whatya gana do about it lol

Dunno but if I'd get a tattoo it'd be because it would really mean something to me. A symbolic figure or something that represented something out of my life. If you ask others for an idea, it's as if the only important thing is that you get a tattoo; not what it represents. But I guess not everyone would think about a tattoo like I do.

Yeah my scorpion is a tribal scorpion so i'm all about those sharp looks and eccentric shapes.

I wouldnt want any oriental writing only for the fact that I dont want it to end up meaning something I dont know it means ya know, but I think oriental writing looks cool.

But so far those designs look badass. This is actually helping lots. Those that have already designed thing sin the past, do you think u'd be able to design something u'd think i'd like and post it on here? I'm getting my next paycheck soon and after picking up something for mycomp i'm thinking of going in for my second tat. and any ideas are appreciated. But I only will use your designs if you all are ok with it, I dont want to step on any toes

Here's a piece of advise;

If you don't already know exactly what design you want, don't get it. You may think it's really cool now, but remember you're stuck with this for the rest of your life. Body art is an expression of self. If you get a tattoo, it should be something that's meaningful to you, something that represents you, and something you won't regret having on your skin in ten years. I've decided I wanted tattoos several years ago, and I still don't have any, not because I've changed my mind, but simply because I've been reflecting on the designs for years now.

Once you know what you want, then it would be a good idea to post here again and ask one of the talented artists to draw a design based on your specifications.

But seriously, I'd have to agree with Flexor and ZOOIkes. Not that I'm trying to tell you how you should live your life, I'm just suggesting that you put a little consideration into it.

No I agree. I see what you guys are saying. My first tattoo had some thought put into it. I had never been able to decide whether to get a scorpion a tiger, or a heart with thorns around it (religious).

Then i decided to get it to symbolize me. I'm a scorpio so I got a tribal scorpion and I had the bleeding heart (partially from the religious symbols i've seen) and partially because that's how I always felt in love...I could never win, my heart was always wounded and bleeding. Then I had it to where the scorpions stinger is piercing the heart with little droplets of blood dripping down. and my name underneath.

anyways I was really happy with it. it really represented me. but i'm not sure what to do as a second. I was curious for ideas and then maybe try and come up with my own thing.

Ok so I guess one idea i could throw out is maybe something that's like angie jolie (which is who i admire). strong yet sensual. like the idea of the flower, but with razor blade petals. the inside would have to be some spherical dimond esque shape. and the blades should look like they are cutting into my skin, and where they are cutting it there should be some bleeding. That's just one idea. If someone could design something along those lines thatd be cool. I'll try and think of some other things I might like. My bf wants me to get a bat across my stomach (it was in a pic he ilkes) but we also agreed on something with a female vampire...hmm I have to think and I'll post some thoughts and hopefully u all can help me make them into a reality by designing them. thnx people

Tribal tattoos are so boring. It seems like everyone has one.

i find it the other way around, everyone around were i live always seem to have the normal street tatoo types

None of my friends (including myself) have any tattoos whatsoever. I guess tattoos aren't as popular here.

Whatever you do, don't get any on your wrists, hands, or anywhere else that you can't hide with clothes. If you do, no one will want to hire you for a professional job , or thats how it is around here.
