Well since this is the first time I've showcased something Non-TDIR related, I should give you guys some background info...
I'm a serious wrestling-a-holic. I love to wrestle, and of course I love to play video games as well. After working with the TDIR crew for so long, I felt that I really needed to learn to edit things myself. I played a bit with JK, the Serious Sam engine... but I never really did anything fantastic or super creative.
Then when HL2 came out I was determined to learn how to map. So I loaded up Hammer and started making boxes (Hooray!). Then I wanted to learn how to skin models. So I started figuring that one out.
Essentially I've learned very basic skills with Hammer and skinning (For my first modification of a skin its ok I suppose, nothing fancy!). So I thought I would present everyone with the first real shots of Source Wrestling Federation!
(Please note: I used Garrys Mod for the pictures, since I really don't have any other way to showcase my stuff properly.)
Work in Progress: Lighting Sucks, Textures Suck. I'm still learning.
This is the Entrance Ramp. Note horrible positioning of Spotlight. The static on the screens moves, just like on the consoles/tvs in HL2.
This is another angle on the same area, this time from the ring.
Everyone needs a pyro, right? (He may be dead.)
Finally, this is a closeup of the mask I drew (Hey it looks like MSPaint!)
I realize I haven't even shown the ring, but I'm actually changing it again and working on getting the apron to look right (with custom textures)..
I should have more to showcase soon!
