well, right now I've only worked on the scattergun. I originally intended to put a scope on the top but decided against it and put a flashlight instead (will be on/off toggleable ingame most likely as a special feature... we'll see how that goes)
I'm also not really liking the power pack right there. I'll prolly get rid of it and use it somewhere else (like a powerup).

Seems like it's generally well designed and constructed, but I'm wondering how it works. What are the point of the four cylinder things?

Reminds me of the Tetryon Pulse Disruptor from Elite Force! That gun rocked, and so does this one by the looks of it! :D

yeah, that's where the cylinder thingies came from. I'm modifying my older model to be more like the pulse disruptor (and so the cylinder thingie on the end will spin... think gattling gun I guess).
I'm prolly going to make multiple fire modes like the impulse laser in PWP2 -- fire 2 changes mode, and fire 1 fires. I'm thinking "pulse" mode (except with balls ;)), shotgun mode, and "big energy ball" mode. A special fire hotkey can toggle the flashlight (and other special features on the other guns) I guess. I'm making these plans as I type, so it's hot off the... brain

Cut down on ridges for the grip. Try 4, maybe 3.

Heh, great, you are still working on this. Looks great, though I don't see where you could put your left hand.

I think you should reconsider the design of the butt of the gun.

Yep, it's still alive :) I've just been "on break" from all my JK stuff for a while (lack of motivation).

Hopefully I'll have some time tonight to work on it some more

Redid the main grip and trigger, added a side grip, and got rid of the power pack. Look better now?

Yeah, the side grip doesn't make much sense, now that the clip is gone :).

It'd look better with a grip on the bottom - and with a hand guard just infront of it to protect from the spinning doohickies.

Good job with the new grip, but the back side of it is far too dramatic of a curve, and wouldn't do much good for the person holding it. I'd also suggest to not even have that curve, since the rest of the gun is generally rectangular, the grip shouldn't suddenly be this flowing little thing. It does need curves, but only for the fingers, generally, grips are rather square themselves.
