Wow, been forever since I've been here! Most of you probably already know me as BeefCaike, but a few years ago, I was banned from Massassi and never let back in. Not like I was really upset about it, I just moved on.

I've been working on a few projects here and there throughout the years. My Last big release was Dralloc Sirhc which got a phenomenal response, and is still being played today! Over the last couple of years I have been tinkering with Jed and came up with a massive level that I will turn into a CTF level. Obviously, I am going to give it a Dralloc title. Here are some shots...

Let's begin from the Red Base to the Gold.

Here is the Red Base.

You may not be able to tell, but there are 3 different entrances. Way up high, through the water, and from behind the camera.

This is the Red Base Entrance.

Here is the path that was behind the camera in the last shot. As you can see above, there is a glass floor. That is one of three ways in from the top level in the previous shot.

From here, you are looking through 2 separate vertical levels.

Here is Mid 1 coming from the Red Base Entrance.

Once you pass through a dark hallway, you come here. This is Mid 1. A multi-leveled deathmatch area.

The door with the Red Arrow is where we are coming from.

From here, we will split in two different directions to Mid 2.

Picture 7

First, let's show the north entrance to Mid 2. This is coming from the door with the Gold Arrow above it from picture 5.

We are coming from the left part with the railing. This leads to Mid 2.

Here is the east entrance to Mid 2 coming from Mid 1.

We are coming from the far right towards Mid 2. Also, notice above the glass floor. That is another one of the many different ways into Mid 2.

When you walk through the halls from the last two pictures, here is what you will see... Mid 2!

This is a enormous Mid-Section designed for Eagle-Eyed Snipers. There are numerous paths from this part of the level that bring you to almost anywhere you want to go. The thing is, I don't have time to upload 50 pictures to show them all off.

With force, you can reach many of the difficult areas high above ground level. That is where I am sitting now.

When you take one of the various paths from Mid 2 to Gold Base, here is what you will end up with.

There are some others, but they are inconsistent with the map I am trying to invision in your head. I hope you get the idea of how it is layed out. What do ya think?

Please, please, please, please, please, please, please make a massive RP level after this, or possibly something with a poopload of cogs that do neat things.

This looks stunning, like all of your work (Except for the mall.. teehee)

Glad to have you back Beef. I've greatly missed the Dralloc series since you were banned. :p Maybe you can help breathe some life back into JK. Hell you did it once. :)

Truely Impressive. :) The archi, the textures, the lighting, and the overall mood. And it's CTF to boot! :D

You should see what the lighter plugin can do for ya. ;)

OMMFG... Very nice... JK nostalgia! I loved the 1st Dralloc, so I can't wait for this. HR's right, Lighter will do wonders for this map... Plus, your archi is great... but I can't stand the textures. They're played out and inconsistant with one another. There's a great texture resource thread at the Editing forum... check it.

PS... Big CTF maps aren't very favorable because you'll NEED to be playing with 6 or more players.

Excellent! Not only does it looks great, but it's a huge CTF level! I'm going to have to reinstall JK for this.

How big is this level compared to, say, CTF Nar or Fusion?

halucid, what are you referring to when you say "big" CTF maps? All of the CTF maps I've played in JK work a lot better with 4 players than they do with 6 or 8. If you want to constantly be shooting, play a smaller level; that's not the point with bigger ones.

Well, I think it is a little bit bigger than CTF Nar. Fusion on the other hand I think is bigger.

Nar is very confined, but has a ton of different places to go. Dralloc CTF is more open with large halls and big open rooms. :)

BeefCaike! I wondered whatever happened to you. Glad to see you're still at it. I loved Dralloc Arena, though I never got a chance to play the other Dralloc titles. Which brings me to my next point, you wouldn't happen to have those up somewhere still, would you? Please?

We can only hope so. The larger and more confusing, the better.

Even the larger maps are optimized for 2v2. The majority of the semi-serious CTFers prefer the larger maps such as Nar and Fusion. The larger maps offer a strategic element that isn't yet found in any other game.

Ahh, good to see you are back.. (I think you might have even been before MY time.. heh...) Well, it looks very Drolloc-esque. The flags seem strange. They don't seem to be hanging properly, like they are rather stiff or something... other than that, it looks awesome. Glad to have you back.

Wlecome back, BeefCaike! I've always loved your style. If I had to pick a series of levels that I like the most, it would be Dralloc. Glad to see you've been working on another title! The screens look great.

Yeah, the texturing is not final yet. The white tiles on the wall in Mid 1 are just temporary, as are many others. Just gotta find that one that works, ya know?

Whoa, I didn't even notice there was a second page on this thread... guess it's been a while! :P

Anyways, I am glad to see that many of you out there still play JK, or at least try out all the new stuff! That's awesome!

His ban was removed way back when the ban list was cleared. You were banned after that mark. Aka, you are banned, he isn't.

The level looks really nice, I just hope the gameplay is just as good.

I would gladly be a beta tester, sadly the chances of me playing it online are quite low because of my router, but we can always try. My dad *said* he opened the right ports, but I don't know...

Well, I wont be needing any Beta testing for a bit yet. I am working on a big project that will someday make me a millionaire, and that kinda has priority at the moment. :)

In a few weeks, I plan to start up Jed again, and finally finish this thing. I will definately let you knw. :)

Oh, and this is a bit off subject, but can someone tell me why Pux was banned? He keeps asking me to find out because he obviously can't post here anymore.

Every texture should be replaced with good ones that go together. The architecture is okay enough, but the texturing, while you said it isn't final, is obviously close to final if you spent the time to align everything. And it's awful. Every bit of it.

If he has a problem, he can fill out a ban inquiry or email the staff. It was already explained to him why he was banned. If he doesnt know, maybe you should tell him that ban evading only lengthens previous bans.

I align everything from the start. Because it is stitched properly doesn't mean squat. Like I said, they're not final, I know they look bad.

While I respect your tenure, I've always had trouble with your levels froma realism standpoint. They always seem so... plastic? I think it's the choice of textures.
