Here is a texture I created with GIMP for my MLP5 level, after which I realized this is NOT what I need at all. It doesn't fit in with the theme of my level, but it's not a bad texture, so I figured I'd put it up for public consumption.



The dirt is based on one of MaDa's textures (mad props to Adam):



I made the grass and touched up the dirt a bit.. it also tiles nicely and is of the proper size to use in whatever game you want.

Awesome texture. Now make a grass textures that matches it on both sides.

The only problem is that I can't see that tiling very well, it seems like it would have a lot of repetition if you were making some kind of road in the grass. Maybe have a few variations that will link together? Other than that, superb work.

Both great ideas; Cool Matty's idea was what I had in mind next, and making a few more variations is a good idea too.
