I've been self teaching myself Flash the past month or so at school, and this is what I've come up with so far. It's not done yet, but let me know what you think. Thanks.

Not bad so far.

Yeah, it's pretty intuitive to control, too...

yeah. not too bad. looks very nice. needs a little more work though. for example, instructions for those who don't know how to play. perhaps a "New Game" button could be good; to start you off from scratch again. little things like that make a whole lot better.

I suggest that you add the other half of the scoring options.

Other than that, I think it's awesome. Better than I can do.

Yeah, I'm actually working on the other scoring options right now. I have 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind, and the yahtzee scoring buttons in, and just got the Full House one working, but haven' gotten the straights working yet. Here is an updated version (remember, this is still a WIP. The scorecard isn't done yet, and will be more organized when I'm done):

I've updated it again, this time, shrinking the movie width down. I've got all of the buttons working, added a reset button, and shrunk the score card down. I still need to and an instructions page or 2, plus make it so if the subtotal is greater than 63, it'll add 35 to it. Check it out.

Just realized the reset button doesn't fully work yet. It resets all the forms, and the dice, but not the field buttons, so you can't click them again. Back to the drawing board tomorrow.

Well, bug for you. Had gotten 3 of Kind, Yahtzee, 1, 2, 3's. 3 of Kind was 25. Got a four of a kind, four ones and a four, click four of kind, and 3 of kind was set to 8, 4 of a kind to 0... Other than that and the things you mentioned, seems to work fine.

Thanks for catching that. I must have forgotten to change the code on part of it. I'll fix that tomorrow too.

IT'S DONE! I finished it up this morning, and think I have all the bugs worked out of it. Here is the completed version in all it's glory.

You should have the roll button disabled when the player has filled in all the slots.

Works great. I'm just not sure about the scoring system, but it's been a long time since I last played this game.
Some small thing: It's very annoying when you accidentally click the wrong "rule" you want to apply to your roll. You should implement some kind of warning window whenever a rule is chosen that scores 0 (or less than 3 or something) points. "WARNING: This rule only scores X points with your current roll. Are you sure you want to apply it?". Maybe let the user disable this warning at will.

That was pretty fun. Im not big on the layout and design but thats my personal opinion. Other than that it wasn't bad.

You should get unlimited amounts of Yahtzee's. Like the real game. :p
