Hey guys, in the light of Episode III I went crazy with photoshop and designed this art from scratch. Its still not done but I'd like some feedback on what you all think. Maybe it'll give me ideas or see problems I'm blinded to.

** Edit : Actually I lied hehehe, the man design was made in vector in Illustrator, then ported to photoshop where I painted the colors onto it.

Everything looks good except the boots, they look too cartoonie.

I think the shoulders are fine. The boots are too tall and rounded and stubby, making them look cartoony, and the legs are just a little too short overall. Legs are usually taller than the torso, and yours are the same height as the torso.

that looks like a 3D model, the shading is so well done. That's a compliment. fantastic job.

Thanks for the comebacks, I agree on the boots but I had gotten to like them like that. But I figure it'll be easy to reshape them a bit.

As for the legs *slaps self a dozen times* I have to be the crappiest artist with proportions heheheh. I'll try to more the legs up and squeeze the torso, or the head, I myself feel the head looks topped on an awefully long neck. Might just be me heheh.

Here's an update, tried fixing the feet, giving long boots like the Jedi trully have, and tried to make the legs longer / torso a bit smaller. Did I end up giving him a major wedgie?

I don't like the website designs

and think about the shape of a foot, it should remain relatively flat until you're almost at the leg.

You don't seem to notice the foot has a pad over it do ya?

And I'm surprised Massassi still allow some people to post things like "I don't like this" and just leave it at that?

If you liked the design, how about being a little constructive about it, give suggestions, OR better yet, just shut up?

The shoes remind of of something...

A: they still look like big, like slippers, even under the pad on top of it.

B: thats a perfectly fine comment.

C: almost everyone did give suggestions. belive it or not, telling you what not to do is also constructive critisism. you then know one more thing not to do in the future.

Comments on the character are fine, I even try modifying them. But that other statement was simply stupid. Heh.

Make leggy longer!

The legs should be about another head's height longer. Male human legs should start roughly halfway down from the top of the head.

His shoulders are rather wide, which may be making him look short. They're not insanely so, though, so lengthening his legs should fix most of that.

The boots are definately an improvement, and I really like the belt and sabre. And the whole colour scheme rather works, too.

Heh, I'm surprised you remember. Well that was lost in crash, which also caused me to quit editing out of pure exhaustion. so much effort put into a map that simple gets erased in your face.
