This is basicly A prefab of a ziggurat I made for a huge sumerian city Im going to build as an alternitve world to abydos in my jedi academy stargate mod.

Somebody's got a low self-esteam... no one cares that he posted the older map.

In either case, it's too early to make any comments. It's a boxy bunch of buildings, what else can we say?

Thank you...... Now thats what im looking for comments about the current map. Well yeah its a ziggurat. I built it to resemble this. Of course mine is missing a level.

Kirby, I love you an all right.. but I see nothing but negative comments posted by you in this forum... It's really annoying.

Anyway, I like it. Very close to your reference shot. I think the lighting needs work and maybe a few details would make it look finished.

You must not see many of my posts, then. When I like something, I praise it (Try Jepman's art thread), when I see room for improvement, I give suggestions (See the brain thread), and when someone's pming me, asking me to edit my post because they want to pretend that there isn't an older version of their map (???), I explain to them that no one really cares. I don't understand at all what you mean by 'negative.'

What's wrong with boxy buildings if they look good? Do you except spirals and other curves with 13034091490 polygons?

Oh, and looks nice.

I never said a bunch of boxy buildings was bad, there's just nothing at all to comment on. "The boxes look nice?"

I believe Kirby was annoyed because Casper made this before, made very few changes now, and "reshowcased" it.

I'm not annoyed at all, I just don't see why I'm being asked to 'ignore' the other picture and the poster is being asked to edit it out. There's nothing to comment on anyway, and the only progress any of us can see are with stairs and bushes. Maybe you should work on textures, since those seem bland at the moment, now that I look at it.

I never ever showcased the pic daft posted im annoyed cause people are not ment to see that, This is the fiirst time I posted a picture of the Zigguraut and how would you like it if someone caused a big stir in one of your showcase threads by posting a pic of any older version of the map that was crappy lit.

I, too, fear progress and the example of it. I always start out perfect, and work backwards, myself. :-P What I'm saying is that you shouldn't care, no one's going to judge you on the original, they're going to make comments on your progress; especially in this case when there's not much to the level anyway.
