My character in one of the DND campaigns I play in.

Wimwocket, aka Master Wocket, level 7 Wizard, level 5 Loremaster. Chaotic Neutral Male Gnome. Worships the (evil) God Vecna and seeks to uncover all things hidden and secret. Knowledge is power.
Beside him his 'cat' Sihz. Sihz is a Grimalkin and looks in his natural form like a huge cat, however he can talk (and never stops doing that) and shapeshift into any medium or smaller animal, beast or vermin.

Just over an hour of work, and well the quality relates to that. Not really something I'm very proud of, but it depicts how he looks very well.

Very cool. Holy crap that is a big kitty.

Oh nos! A dire kitten!
Good work:p Legs look a little short though, on the guy

That was intentional, I don't know, I just always seem to think of gnomes as shortlegged.

The cat should've probably been even a bit bigger, since gnomes are 'small' and grimalkins are 'medium', but that'd just make it look stupid. And I figured Grimalkins would rank as medium earlier than humanoids because it has more legs and thus uses up more horizontal space.

Next to the wizard, that cat looks really out of place.

Great work on the wizard though.

I don't like the helmet or his poopy little daggars. Give him a big *** katana..

...or something.

I like it, a lot. Good job :)

You can't just give him something he doesn't have. And the cat's eyes are a bit too high in the face.

Besides, since when do mages walk around with katanas? Origionally he had only one dagger, because it's the favored weapon of Vecna, but I gained the other two in the campaign. I don't think I've ever used any of them; I just rather cast chain lightning or something like that :)

As for the items you see:

Helm of comprehend language and read magic (90% chance of understanding any written language (No loremaster can go without it :))
Robe that absorbs 70 cold damage per day and grants immunity against ice enchantments
Amulet that absorbs 150 fire damage and protects immunity for fireball and burning hands (will come in handy since we are currently in the Nine hells of Baator)
Ice bolts +5 to hit, +1d6+3 cold damage (for when we run out of spells)
Bracers of armor +2
Cloak of resistance +1 (with Vecna symbol on the back, which you can't see from this angle)
Masterwork heavy crossbow
Masterwork punching dagger
Dagger of Pelor +1d6 damage to undead (divine)
Dagger of Wee Jas (25% chance of casting Animate Dead as a cleric with level equal to your wizard level)
sapphire Ring (+5 to knowledge nature and arcana, +10 resistance to mind affecting spells)

And then of course a whole collection of potions and spells and gear in my backpack.
With my dm gear like this isn't a luxury, but a plain necessity.

Zookies get yourself a putty rubber.

With that you can add shine to the image, and make it looks more realistic.

Also, dont press so hard on the pencil, like you did on the cat.
I know its annoying, but spend more time on the fur, it'll be worth the time.

Otherwise, its better than 80% of the art we get in here, you'll go far, my son :D

  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

That is a great pencil drawing of your character from DND. I have a DND game at home (Baldur's Gate) which I have'nt played in a long while. I may think about playing it again.

Not bad my friend. I think if you lost the cat and gave the armored character a sharper/darker look, you'd be set. But thats just my opinion. Keep up the good work:)

Again: he can't just add/delete things at free will. Think of the picture as a photo (a snapshot), not a drawing. This character has a history, there is a perfect reason for all the things to be there. He's not just made up.
I hope so, at least.

Indeed, what Zagibu said. I can't change anything about the character, because that's how he is. Also, making him darker wouldn't suit him because, though excentric, he's generally a friendly and warm-hearted person who's willing to share his knowledge.

Funny how this is one of the worst drawings I've posted here in months (if I may say so myself) but it gets much more replies. Maybe you guys just post sooner if there is more to complain about ;)

Well if thats the way the character is then by all means leave it the way it is. It's still awsome and all....I just like to "Evilize" things sometimes:D Pic pwns btw if I havn't said so already.
