So I'm getting something ready for release....kind of a teaser. I figured since I've teased you all enough with screenshots of my Star Trek levels (that I will probably never finish), the least I could do is finally realease some portion of them.

So yeah. Expect a teaser within the next month or two. As soon as I finish building the area pictured below, it's on.

Oh, and for those who don't know, this is for MotS.

AND...everything you see in these screenshots below (except for the floor) is a 3DO. That's the only way building this area from Star Trek II would have been possible with the amount of detail I wanted it to have. I built this same area a few years back, however now that I look back on it, I could've done a lot better.

ONE LAST NOTE...I may have to take out those little light fixtures above each console. They are way too detailed (surface wise) for what they are, and cause bad framerate drop. So far, I get an average framerate of 15 fps....and this area is only halfway done. So included in the trailer will probably be TWO versions.....one with the light fixtures as they are, and one with a condensed version of the light fixtures. I will need you guys to give me reports of framerate from both so I can decide how to leave them.

Oh and here's another one I found...showing off a cool planet 3DO. BTW, does anyone know of a good way to texture spheres perfectly? ForceRemap has some issues with this....

that's looking great, bsr! The only way you would be able to texture a sphere other than force remap would be to use something like 3d studios max or something similar and export it.

Here are a bunch of spheres in different formats. The included 3do format may be a little buggy, since my milkshape 3do exporter has a small bug in it. But importing the 3do in JED and then exporting it out again will correct the problems.
