You need to work on the color scheme. The Flag in the background looks strange to me, and the green of the statue looks out of place. I suggest adjusting the colors on the flag so the blue looks more blue and getting rid of the blur thats on it.

And for the Statue- try changing its colors to the colors of the rest of the image.

I'd be sad too if a bunch of guns were pointed at me. >.>;;

Maybe you could try making the picture black and white, with blue tears falling from the Statue of Liberty like in those Gatorade commercials. Probably won't work, but I'd like to see it tried.

Flag looks much better- Try keeping the text on the top red and turning the statue red.

I like the one with the blue Statue of Liberty -- alot.

sajn- if you try to darken the statue (burn tool or something similar) you may be able to get the red to look better.


Personally, I like it alot better than the blue one because it stands out against the stars.

if you're changing the color of the statue, then blue = better symbolism-wise. Since blue generally stands for sadness, and red is often more associated with death, violence, sickness, etc...

That's what I was just telling ThrawnNumbers. It isn't supposed to be violent but sad. That's why I like the blue onw.

Methinks you should have the statue blue, but the text red.

The red statue looks very... Communist... In a good way... Stylistically they had it down.

The blue statue looks like it's trying to hide. It could work.

The Black and White is ... amazing. Beautiful.

The Green statue looks actually quite good. It looks traditional. I wonder what it would look like in origional cast copper... Probably teh d0rk.

This is really nice artwork... I see a potential flaw, depending on what you're trying to accomplish...

Typically good propaganda leaves no doubt as to what it means. If you're advocating something specific, you may want to try to make the point more obvious. If you're just trying to propogate thought, then I suppose it works effectively as is. I like to think of myself as pretty swift on this issues, but I have no idea what you're trying to say.

In my professional opinion, I say either the original green or the black and white is the best. The others just look flat and bland, to me.
