is slowly taking shape

I'm working on a neat little something as a tribute to upcoming EP3!

Still some of the ships need to be replaced by suiting EP3 models, which I'l do by time but for now have a first peek!

And don't comment on the greenish default textures - just a warning

This had better be for XWA.

Courescant is a City planet, not a lava planet...

or am I missing something?

are you sure the droid ships are that big and/or the star destroyers are that small? that would make the SD only about the size of a frigate or corvette...

@-Monoxide- I know that, but XWA doesn't feature a proper Coruscant background and I was too lazy to import one at this early stage. This planet is, in my eyes, the closest thing to Coruscant coming with stock XWA.

@CoW, well, the Trade Federation Battleship is about 3 - 3.5km long. The Venator Star Destroyer I suppose is about the size of the Victory-Class, meaning 900-1000m. I used light Cals as placeholders for the Banking Clan Frigates and a big Cal to stand in for the Invisible Hand, which is described to be over a kilometer long - thus equal in scale.

wow. could you get me some of those models in like md3 format when completed? especially the SD things and the player vehicle (i think anakin's?)

MD3..... Would you accept 3DS as well? Also, for the Jedi Starfighter, you'll have to ask DTM from MTD Industries, since he's the author. I only did(am doing) those star destroyers.

Update: OK, I realized I had made the Star Destroyers a bit too small(-200m) They're now 1.14km long :), see the fourth pic I added above!

I noticed the default texture on the mouth. Is it because you are seriously considering to add teeth there?

I knew it. Do you want me to draw the texture (I could add some more detail, maybe a toothpiercing?), or are you going to rip it off the previously posted image in your other thread?

yeah 3ds is more than fine, and i really wanted the SD more, but yeah ill ask if i need the starfighter for something. i just think those would make a killer map object... have a few of those hovering in the sky or flying around.

oh and how much of the interior of the trade ships can you navigate?

You can fly all through the entire arc as well as into the central ball where the Reactor is located.

The TF Battle Ship was made by Rebel and is available at Darksaber's X-Wing Station
